Available Pets

All cats at our  " Adoption Center" are inside domestic, of various breeds and have been fully vetted. Spayed/Neutered, Shots, and FELV/Leuk Tested Negative.  If you have a question or would like to see one, give us a call at  (812)-752-7500 or email us at hsscinfo@frontier.com  and we will arrange to get together. Please feel free to stop by the Adoption Center at 1176 N. Gardner during open hours to meet the kitties in person. Outside and Barn Carts are available at the Scott County Animal Shelter.

All available dogs are housed in foster homes and will be adopted through the Humane Society. The online application must first be completed and then the foster home will be in touch to visit and arrange a time for a meet/greet. All dogs are altered and current on rabies prior to adoption. They have also had their first set of shots, been heartworm tested and on preventative if old enough, have been wormed and flea treated. Since the foster home has had the dog in their care, they are well prepared to help you decide if this is the "perfect one" for your household and proceed with the adoption. Our dogs can be seen at many of our Adoption Fairs, At the Shelter or at their Foster Home and pictures are posted on our Web site.
